House on 7 Shopen Street

Stanislavіv city, lived there)
Julian Polyak did not have a higher education but successfully managed one good store, called on
those days trading house. He sold everything except shoes and clothes. The store was opened in
1905 on 11 Sapiezhynska Street. Julian was also the stepfather of Leopold Siemak, who created the
most detailed plan of the city in all its history. He worked as an official at the City Magistrate, but had
an artistic talent. He depicted the ordinaries of a liturgy in the Armenian Church and decorated a
copy of the Blessed Virgin Mary, which is still visible on the facade of this shrine.
