Commemorative tablet to the Poles and the Warsaw inhabitants killed in the Second World War (Saxon Garden – Ogród Saski)
The board commemorates 6 million of Poles who died during World War II, including 800,000 inhabitants of Warsaw. Saxon Garden (Ogród Saski), the place where the tablet was unveiled, was partially destroyed during the Warsaw Uprising and rebuilt after the war. The unveiling of the tablet took place in 1965.
