Memorial Stone of Victims of Stalinism (General Anders’s Street)
The Square of Memory of Victims of Stalinism received its name in 1999 from the initiative of the Stalin Political Prisoners Union and commemorates the victims of the criminal system since the Soviet aggression on Poland in 1939 until its end in 1956. The commemoration of the victims of Stalin terror became possible only after Poland regained its sovereignty.
